Ferdinand | Education Ghana | February 24 | UPSA Hosts Cultural Diplomat Impact Conference 2026 to Promote Ethical Entrepreneurship
The University for Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has hosted the Cultural Diplomat Impact Conference 2026 at its Main Auditorium, bringing together influential voices from diplomacy, business, media, and the creative arts to inspire students toward purpose-driven entrepreneurship.
The event formed part of the university’s mandatory Entrepreneurship course for first-year students and attracted more than 3,000 participants.
Vice-Chancellor Emphasises Integrity and Authenticity
Addressing the gathering, the vice-chancellor highlighted the need for authenticity, integrity, and strong moral principles in business leadership.
He explained that sustainable entrepreneurial success rests not only on innovation and profitability but also on ethical conduct and social responsibility. According to him, combining enterprise with values creates long-term impact and strengthens public trust.
He urged students to pursue clarity of purpose and to remain grounded in their identity as they navigate professional life.
Cross-Sector Thought Leaders Engage Students
The conference featured speakers from diverse professional backgrounds who shared personal experiences and practical insights. Discussions centred on purposeful leadership, ethical decision-making, and the importance of cultural identity in shaping business success.
Participants were encouraged to resist the temptation of short-term visibility and instead focus on building lasting value through discipline, credibility, and service.
Practical Entrepreneurship Training
The event reflects UPSA’s effort to make entrepreneurship education practical and relevant. By exposing students to experienced professionals and real-life case reflections, the university seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
University authorities indicated that such engagements will remain central to the institution’s academic model, ensuring that graduates are equipped not only with business skills but also with a strong ethical foundation.
The Cultural Diplomat Impact Conference 2026 therefore reinforces UPSA’s broader mission of nurturing responsible, purpose-driven entrepreneurs prepared to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s development and the global economy.
